Job Summary:

The Chef de Cuisine will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen at Vineyard, ensuring that our guests enjoy remarkable culinary experiences. This leadership role requires a creative and detail-oriented culinary professional who can develop menus, manage kitchen staff, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Create and design innovative menus that highlight seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented according to the highest standards.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff to enhance culinary skills and foster a positive team environment.
  • Manage inventory, food costs, and ordering to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Maintain health and safety standards within the kitchen to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special events and promotions.
  • Stay current with food trends and incorporate them into the culinary offerings.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience as a Chef de Cuisine or a similar role in a high-quality culinary environment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and culinary trends.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
  • Creativity and passion for culinary excellence and innovation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary of $80,000–$95,000
  • 10% annual bonus potential
