We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Technician! In this role, the Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of tasks, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, test and inspections of physical plant equipment, preventive maintenance, and various janitorial duties with minimal supervision.
  • Perform all tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and preventive maintenance,
  • HVAC, tests, and inspections of the physical plant.
  • Clean and change air filters as required through the Preventive Maintenance Program.
  • Clean kitchen grease traps and stove hood filters.
  • Dispose of infectious/contaminated waste from the facility.
  • Maintain facility grounds in a neat and attractive appearance.
  • Operate and maintain the emergency power plant.
  • Maintain all light fixtures in good working condition and change light bulbs as needed.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, electrical test, as well as the removal, installation, and repair of all mechanical/electrical equipment with direct supervision of a supervisor. Perform various janitorial duties.
  • Responsible for keeping tools and materials in good condition and in their proper location. Responsible for taking necessary safety precautions when handling hand/power tools and equipment.
  • Take appropriate precautions, ensuring proper tag-out and lock-out procedures when working on equipment.
  • Your Experience Matters What we're looking for:
    • Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred; two years of technical or trade school preferred.
    • Experience: Must have experience in operating a variety of hand/power tools and equipment, ensuring proper safety precautions. Must have experience in the area of building maintenance and basic mechanical engineering. Must have experience working in a hospital setting.
    • Licensure: Must have a valid driver's license.

    Compensation:

    This is a full-time role, and the expected compensation range is $16.00-$19.00 per hour. We're eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our Maintenance Technician!
