We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Technician! In this role, the Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of tasks, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, test and inspections of physical plant equipment, preventive maintenance, and various janitorial duties with minimal supervision.

Perform all tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and preventive maintenance,

HVAC, tests, and inspections of the physical plant.

Clean and change air filters as required through the Preventive Maintenance Program.

Clean kitchen grease traps and stove hood filters.

Dispose of infectious/contaminated waste from the facility.

Maintain facility grounds in a neat and attractive appearance.

Operate and maintain the emergency power plant.

Maintain all light fixtures in good working condition and change light bulbs as needed.

Perform preventive maintenance, electrical test, as well as the removal, installation, and repair of all mechanical/electrical equipment with direct supervision of a supervisor. Perform various janitorial duties.

Responsible for keeping tools and materials in good condition and in their proper location. Responsible for taking necessary safety precautions when handling hand/power tools and equipment.

Take appropriate precautions, ensuring proper tag-out and lock-out procedures when working on equipment.

Your Experience Matters What we're looking for:

Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred; two years of technical or trade school preferred.
Experience: Must have experience in operating a variety of hand/power tools and equipment, ensuring proper safety precautions. Must have experience in the area of building maintenance and basic mechanical engineering. Must have experience working in a hospital setting.
Licensure: Must have a valid driver's license.

Compensation:

This is a full-time role, and the expected compensation range is $16.00-$19.00 per hour. We're eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our Maintenance Technician!
