Job Summary
The Technician I – Logistics will provide shipping, receiving and inventory maintenance support.
Job Duties And Responsibilities- Properly package, label and tag warehouse inventory.
- Complete and log daily activities, including receiving, shipping, stocking, tooling, auditing, issuing all materials and completing special assignments.
- Conduct cycle‑counts of inventory and maintain daily logs.
- Enter materials into the IES Inventory database.
- Load and unload goods and supplies, ensuring proper handling.
- Maintain warehouse quality by tracking and reporting damaged inventory in a timely manner.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
- Operate forklifts and company vehicles as required.
- Adhere to 5S organization and Lean principles.
- Efficiently carry out all task assignments.
USD $20.00/Hr. – $24.00/Hr.
Qualifications- Regular attendance is mandatory.
- Entry‑level knowledge of operating warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Self‑motivated, professional, and supportive of project process improvement initiatives.
- Promotes the company culture and mission to all stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cycle‑counting, order picking, shipping, receiving and operating a forklift.
- Ability to work at heights, off ladders, in confined spaces, lift up to 50 lbs and move up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Meets company minimum driving standards.
- High School diploma or GED equivalency.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
- Basic understanding of operating systems such as SAP and Spectrum.
- Intermediate skills using Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to use power tools.
- Physical agility to conduct warehouse inventory.
- Knowledge of 5S and Lean environments is a plus.
