Maintenance Repairman II
The University of Louisiana Monroe is seeking a Maintenance Repairman II to join our team and support a variety of campus maintenance functions, including work related to HVAC systems. This position plays a vital role in supporting campus operations and making our campus beautiful.

Minimum QualificationsTwo years of experience or training in the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment, or park operations and grounds maintenance; OR Completion of a two-year vocational technical program in general building construction, construction technology, or engineering; OR Twelve semester hours in construction management, construction technology, or engineering, or any combination of these courses.
Job Duties and Other InformationJob Duties:
- Makes general repairs to air condition/heating systems.
- Performs routine preventive maintenance (E.G., changing filters, lubricating motors, cleaning coils, replacing belts) on split systems, heat pumps, air handlers, and package units.
- Unstops drain pans and drain lines on fan coil units. Repair or replace thermostats. Cleaning coils on chillers.
- Maintain and make general repairs to a variety of motorized equipment including tune-ups, replacement and adjustment of worn or damaged parts, starters, pumps, belts, etc.)
- Document labor, materials, and findings for university system.
- Other duties as assigned

Work Location: This position is located in the Physical Plant on the main campus of the University of Louisiana Monroe.
