Maintenance Manager

As Maintenance Manager at Drax, you'll lead maintenance for critical energy assets within our Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management team. You will own preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, ensuring safe, reliable plant performance that supports Drax's zero-carbon ambitions. Partnering with engineering and operations, you'll optimize asset lifecycle, manage a skilled maintenance team and contractors, and drive data-led improvements that enhance reliability, efficiency, and sustainability across our energy and utilities operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance strategy for power generation and utility assets to maximize reliability and uptime.
• Plan, prioritize, and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Manage a multidisciplinary maintenance team, contractors, and vendors safely and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all maintenance activities.
• Optimize asset lifecycle, maintenance budgets, and spare parts inventory for cost-effective performance.
• Use CMMS/EAM data to drive continuous improvement, RCA, and reliability initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations on sustainable upgrades and capital projects.
• Report on KPIs, asset health, and risk, recommending improvements aligned with Drax's net-zero strategy.
