Apartment Maintenance Technician I

Redwood Living, Inc. is seeking a skilled Multi-Site Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team, dedicated to maintaining the integrity and quality of our unique single-story apartment communities. This role is essential in providing a comfortable and safe living environment for our residents, focusing particularly on older adults who cherish maintenance-free living. The successful candidate will be responsible for multiple sites, ensuring all maintenance issues are swiftly and effectively resolved while upholding our high standards of service and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance and repairs across various apartment sites.
• Inspect buildings, systems, and appliances to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
• Respond to service requests and prioritize maintenance tasks based on urgency and impact.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, inspections, and repairs.
• Coordinate with site managers and other maintenance staff to schedule repairs and routine maintenance.
• Ensure all tools and maintenance equipment are in good working order and maintained properly.
• Facilitate and implement preventative maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of facilities and minimize future repairs.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and ensure compliance with state and local regulations.
