Equipment Maintenance Technician III

Main Job Responsibilities / Competencies

• Maintains equipment by completing preventative maintenance (PM) schedules; conducting functional tests; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions; calling for special service; maintaining equipment inventories.
• Performs calibration procedures on measurement and test equipment.
• Maintains the preventative maintenance program in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Accurately documents all PMs performed along with gathering information from vendors who conduct preventive maintenance services.
• Maintains a safe and healthy working environment by conducting safety inspections, and complying with procedures.
• Maintains equipment supplies inventory by checking stock; anticipating needs; placing and expediting orders; and verifying receipt.
• Performs miscellaneous duties to support manufacturing and other duties as assigned.
• Performs on-call responsibilities, weekend and after hours as required.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of manufacturing department processes, flow, practices and procedures.
• Performs a variety of tasks including repairing equipment, making improvements to existing equipment, and building new custom equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma/general education diploma (GED) or equivalent combination of education/experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of equipment maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
• Familiarity with working in a GMP environment.

• Mechanically inclined with electrical and mechanical skills.
• Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Demonstrated knowledge and aptitude in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and construction tasks.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Conscientious with good decision-making ability and ability to complete multiple tasks.

Pay range: $32-$42 per hour. Final compensation/salary will depend on experience.
