POSITION SUMMARY

The Maintenance Intern is considered a Non-Key gaming employee, which gives them limited access to sensitive areas of the Casino and Lil'Peaks Casino. Under immediate supervision of Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Assistant, the Intern performs general routine preventative maintenance to Sleeping Wolf Campground, Glacier Family Food and Gas Station, Hotel and Glacier Peaks Casino premises, such as buildings, grounds, and parking lots.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Represents Siyeh Corporation in the most positive manner with internal and external guests to satisfy service expectations. Interacts effectively with a diverse group of guests and team members, learns and uses operating practices of the department and the organization.

• Performs general routine maintenance such as yard work, cleaning and general upkeep of grounds and buildings as necessary or instructed.
• Mows, trims, plants and waters grounds as required.
• Observes areas for safety, and that all potential hazards are fixed.
• Committed to Safety-Complies with safety instructions, observing safe work practices.
• Performs all other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Must be able to read and understand warning labels and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Must have an acceptable driving record and be insurable through our insurance carrier.
• Must be able to obtain a non-key gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the NIGC Gaming Commission.
• Must be flexible with shifts and days off.
• Must be able to lift and carry weight up to eighty (80) pounds or more. Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing and pulling.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be flexible with shift and days off.
• Frequent travel from building to building and local in-town travel required.
• Without exception, must uphold the confidentiality requirements of the position.
• Must maintain confidentiality at all times.
