Overview

Position: Warehouse Tech
Location: Ashland, Virginia
Pay: $14.50 per hour, weekly pay on Fridays
Schedule: Sunday – Wednesday (6 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
Wednesdays – Saturdays (6 p.m. – 5 a.m.)
Shift Types: overnight and day shifts, 4‑day on/3‑day off schedules, full‑time work

• Gather and dispose of all cardboard, packing materials, wood, and other recyclables from designated gaylords and bins.
• Clean various flooring surfaces, including vacuuming with a push or backpack vacuum (9–12 lbs.), sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
• Empty all trash cans and receptacles and replace liners.
• Ensure proper labeling, dilution, and use of all cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
• Operate specialized equipment as needed, including augers, balers, and waste compactors.
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and implementing projects to increase business‑wide effectiveness and efficiency.
• Abide by and enforce Sizemore and client policies and procedures.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

• May be required to work overtime.
• Work may be inside or outside in various building and weather conditions.
• Extensive walking or standing for extended periods of time.
• Lifting or carrying items generally weighing 50 lbs. or less.
• Walk/stand (85–90% of the shift), go up and down stairs, bend, stoop, and reach.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
