Position Overview

Warehouse Technician – Petersburg, VA.

Pay: $14.50 per hour (weekly pay).

Schedule:

Sunday–Wednesday 5am–4pm or Wednesday–Saturday 5pm–4am. Full‑time position.

• Gather and dispose of cardboard, packing materials, wood, etc.
• Clean floors (vacuuming with push or backpack vacuums, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing).
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Label, dilute, and use cleaning chemicals properly.
• Maintain cleaning equipment in a clean, safe, operable condition.
• Operate specialized equipment as needed (augers, balers, waste compactors, etc.).
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedure.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and implementing projects to increase business‑wide effectiveness and efficiency.
• Abide by and enforce Sizemore’s and client policies and procedures.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

• May be required to work overtime.
• Work inside or outside in various building and weather conditions.
• Require extensive walking or standing for extended periods.
• Lift or carry items generally weighing 50lb. or less.
• Work at a high percentage of shift walking/standing, climbing stairs, bending, stooping and reaching.

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must provide a 7‑year background check and pass a drug test.
