Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Location: Glasgow
Mechanic Truck Position
We are looking for a truck mechanic (M/F) for one of our clients based in Rosult on a permanent contract. Under the authority of the workshop manager, you will participate in the following missions:
Preparation and completion of work:
- Take instructions from the workshop manager, - Participate in the diagnosis of breakdowns, - Assess your needs (parts,...) and the time for repairs, - Dismantle mechanical, hydraulic or electrical parts Preventive and curative maintenance:
- Clean electromechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, - Replace defective parts, - Check the functioning after repair, - Carry out revisions preceding technical visits, - Carry out the routine maintenance (oil changes, greasing) of the internal fleet Reporting and communication:
- Report on the execution of work to the hierarchy, - Communicate the diagnoses to the manager, - Propose modifications, - Report non-conformities (organization, material, etc.), - Inform business software and repair sheets. You hold a training in mechanics and have initial experience in truck mechanics or machinery. Hardworking and dynamic, you possess a strong team spirit, learning capacity and pedagogy will be required.
