Position:
Ranch Hand

The purpose of the Ranch Hand is to provide support of the operations at Paw Up Montana Ranch Operations and services provided.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide care of cattle herd, including feeding and cleaning of stalls and dry lots, and replace salt, mineral, and protein tubs.

• Assist with the general maintenance, repair, and cleaning of Ranch Operations' grounds including barns, fences, and equipment.

• Operate tools and equipment according to prescribed safety procedures.

• Perform pasture moves as necessarily and appropriate.

• Conduct livestock tasks including confining in stalls, clean, and disinfect.

• Complete needed fence updates, repairs, and placement.

• Work and communicate constantly with co-workers, management, and other departments.

• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all team members to foster and promote a positive working environment.

• Perform work in a safe and high-quality manner.

Looking for Team Members With:

Required education:

High school diploma, GED or vocational training

Required experience:

18 years of age or older

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

3+ years' experience in farming/ranching, machinery and tool use

Demonstrated experience with the daily care and handling of horses, general stable keeping, and moderate-duty ranch work.

Ability to drive and operate a truck with 25' trailer

Excellent communication and organizational skills

This is a full-time, year-round position that includes benefits: health, dental, PTO, 401K, and low-cost employee housing. Wage will be discussed during interview process
