Job Overview

Warehouse Corrugate / Trash Technician – Smithfield, NC.

Pay: $15.50/hr weekly pay on Fridays.

Schedule:

Day (6:00 AM – 5:00 PM) or Night (6:00 PM – 5:00 AM) with a four‑day work week and one required weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday).
Flexibility to work either day is a plus.

• Pull trash and corrugate (cardboard) shuttles.
• Operate equipment, including a manual pallet jack.
• Remove trash and keep parking lot and station areas clean.
• Clean totes and perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Gather and dispose of all cardboard, packing materials, and wood from designated gaylords and bins.
• Clean flooring surfaces: vacuuming (push or backpack vacuum), sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
• Empty all trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Ensure proper labeling, dilution, and safe use of all cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
• Operate specialized equipment (e.g., augers, balers, waste compactors) as needed.
• Report irregularities and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Identify and implement projects to increase business‑wide efficiency.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift or carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Strong physical condition; able to walk or stand for most of the shift and to bend, stoop, and reach.
• Willingness to pass a 7‑year background check and a drug test prior to employment.

Work may be inside or outside in various environmental conditions. Overtime may be required. Extensive walking, standing, and stair work are part of the job.
