Hotel Maintenance Technician

POSITION TITLE:

Hotel Maintenance Technician | Employee Housing Available | $21/Hour

The Hotel Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the hotel's guestrooms, public spaces, building systems, and grounds to ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for guests and team members. This position performs preventative maintenance, responds to guest service requests, and assists with ongoing property improvement projects.

The Hotel Maintenance Technician role is ideal for someone who:

• Has experience with general building maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting
• Enjoys solving problems and working independently
• Takes pride in maintaining a safe and well-presented property
• Can prioritize multiple projects and respond quickly to maintenance requests
• Demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail

• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the hotel, including guestrooms, public areas, mechanical spaces, and exterior grounds
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance issues
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and service calls
• Conduct routine inspections of building systems and equipment to identify maintenance needs
• Maintain swimming pool, water slide, hot tub, and related equipment in accordance with safety standards and operating procedures
• Assist with room renovations, deep cleaning projects, and property improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and preventative maintenance records
• Partner with housekeeping and front office teams to ensure guestrooms are maintained and available for sale
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with company and regulatory requirements
• Assist with snow removal, grounds maintenance, and seasonal property needs as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Previous hotel maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction, or skilled trades experience preferred
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance systems
• Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
• Valid driver's license preferred
