Maintenance / Janitorial Person
Light to medium duty maintenance and janitorial work of a convenience store.
Duties include:
general store maintenance, hosing of parking lots, changing trash, replacing window washer fluid and towels, shoveling sidewalks in the winter, cleaning fuel dispensers, cleaning condensers, changing lights, helping stock grocery orders, helping put away freezer orders, cleaning ovens and other food service equipment, cleaning restrooms, cleaning filters, occasional mowing and pulling weeds, picking up trash and litter on property, stocking the cooler, cleaning shelves, etc.
Overall cleanliness and organization of the fuel islands and stores are key. Bathroom cleaning is also mandatory.
Will be paid hourly. Health insurance available after probationary period.
- Must be 16 years or older.
- Must pass background check.
- Must pass Underground Storage Tank Operator training.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
- Must be able to work in walk-in coolers and freezers for up to 10 minutes.
- Must be willing to come in early monthly to clean ovens before opening.
