Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all housekeeping operations within the facility to ensure compliance with infection control guidelines.
• Manage a team of custodial staff, providing training, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and ensure execution of cleaning protocols and standards in patient care areas, maintaining a safe environment for both patients and staff.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess effectiveness and implement necessary changes or enhancements.
• Collaborate with other department managers and healthcare staff to prioritize areas of need and deploy resources efficiently.
• Develop and maintain budget compliance, managing inventories of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring no shortages.
• Handle customer service feedback, resolving issues swiftly to maintain facility reputation.
