Maintenance Assistant (Full-Time)

Pay: $20-$24/hour (DOE)

Cypress Ridge Care Center is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep and safety of our facility. This role is essential in ensuring a comfortable, clean, and well‑maintained environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

• Assist with routine maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building upkeep)
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and inspections
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Assist with moving equipment, setting up rooms, and other facility needs
• Keep maintenance logs and report issues as needed

• Previous maintenance experience preferred, ideally in healthcare or a similar setting
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repair work
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
