Description
EVS Attendant I is responsible for the upkeep and cleaning of the gaming complex, including machines, bathrooms, and offices at the casino. EVS personnel will produce the highest quality of cleanliness in all areas, following established procedures.
Job OverviewShift hours: 2 pm–10:30 pm (shift subject to change based on business needs).

Duties and Responsibilities- Ensure that the gaming complex stays clean and sanitized
- Vacuum, mop, sweep, dust, and clean wood, glass, pictures, doors, tables, chairs, slot machines, carpets, and any surface
- Maintain cleanliness of floors in assigned public and employee areas, including all front and back of the casino
- Maintain and clean equipment used; use equipment properly
- Perform periodic maintenance schedule tasks such as shampooing and extracting carpets
- Inform the EVS Manager of any needed cleaning supplies or maintenance concerns
- Report any unsafe conditions or equipment to Supervisor/Manager
- Adhere to all applicable operating policies and procedures at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager
- High School diploma or GED required, or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift and maneuver a backpack vacuum of 25 pounds for up to 2 hours
- Must be able to push, pull, or maneuver a minimum of 5 to 60 pounds to assigned areas
- Must be able to walk or stand for 100% of the assigned shift
- Must successfully pass a job interview, including a guest service audition
- Must have knowledge of cleaning chemicals
- Must be willing and able to work in the presence of solvents and cleaning chemicals
- Must be able to climb a ladder to perform overhead work
- Must tolerate areas containing dust, second‑hand smoke, bright lights, and loud noises
- Use dexterity and gross motor skills continually; frequently bend, pull, push, lift, and reach above shoulders; occasionally kneel, climb, and crawl in order to work in difficult positions
- Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
- Must be willing and able to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
- Must have a Tribal Gaming License or the ability to obtain and maintain a license as a requirement for this position
- Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment, holidays, weekends, and nights
