What You Can Expect

In the training as a mining technologist in underground construction technology starting on September 1, 2027, at our Neuhof-Ellers location:

• You will learn to control and operate large underground mining machines to extract our salt. You will obtain a driving permit for the underground area.

• You will ensure the safety of underground worksites and provide fresh air underground.

• You will learn everything about the underground salt deposit and be able to assess it later.

• You will be part of a large team where everyone can rely on each other.

• A good main school certificate, secondary school certificate, or a (vocational) high school diploma

• A good spatial imagination

• Enjoyment of working in a team and a great sense of responsibility

• Enthusiasm for large machines and the world underground
