We are an established manufacturing organization with a strong commitment to operational excellence, employee development, safety, and continuous improvement. The company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance operations within a high-volume manufacturing facility.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, planning, and execution of the plant's maintenance function. This role ensures equipment reliability, maximizes production uptime, manages maintenance personnel and budgets, and partners with cross‑functional teams to support safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all maintenance operations while promoting a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, quality, GMP (where applicable), and company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Investigate equipment failures, determine root causes, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and other functional teams to improve manufacturing performance and reduce operating costs.
  • Plan, prioritize, and coordinate maintenance activities to support production schedules.
  • Develop maintenance procedures, standards, and best practices that improve operational efficiency.
  • Prepare, manage, and monitor the maintenance budget while identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve resource utilization.
  • Lead, coach, train, and develop maintenance supervisors and technicians to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, safety discussions, and technical training based on operational needs.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with equipment suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
  • Participate in capital projects, equipment installations, and other cross‑functional initiatives as needed.
  • Travel as business needs require.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or a related field; equivalent maintenance leadership experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of five years of maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading maintenance teams in a fast‑paced production operation.
  • Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance principles, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement.
  • Experience managing maintenance budgets and maintenance planning systems.
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships across operations, engineering, quality, and leadership teams.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including maintenance management and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently while fostering teamwork and accountability.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
