Maintenance Worker, Building Maintenance, General Labor

About the position:

This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Maintenance Department at University Inn Lodging on Maxwell/Gunter AFB, Alabama. This position is a Regular Part-Time. You are guaranteed 20 hours, however you could work up to 35 hours per week. As a RPT employee, you are eligible to earn annual leave, sick leave and benefits, to include Health/Dental, Life Insurance, Employer Matching 401K and NAF Retirement.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

• Must have experience that demonstrates the ability to perform minor plumbing, painting, electrical and carpentry duties.
• Experience could have been gained in any type position of "handyman" with duties in the area required.
• must have a knowledge of proper tools used in the different areas of the maintenance section.
• Experience must have demonstrated ability to work independently, with little need for direct supervision.
