Regional Maintenance Supervisor

Role Description

The Regional Maintenance Supervisor is a full-time, hybrid role based in Alabama, overseeing maintenance operations across multiple properties within the region. This role is responsible for leading maintenance teams, assigning work orders, and ensuring timely completion of repairs and preventive maintenance activities. The Regional Maintenance Manager coordinates staff to ensure properties are maintained. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing property maintenance reports, setting priorities, managing inventories of tools and supplies, and supporting budget planning related to maintenance and capital projects.

The role also involves training maintenance staff, implementing consistent maintenance procedures, and collaborating with regional and property leadership to improve building performance and resident or client satisfaction.

• Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, scheduling, performance feedback, and conflict resolution.
• Candidates should possess Property Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance skills, with experience inspecting systems, troubleshooting issues, and planning recurring service.
• Candidates should possess Maintenance Management skills, including organizing work orders, tracking completion, and coordinating with vendors and contractors.
• Relevant qualifications include experience managing maintenance in residential, commercial, or industrial properties; strong safety and compliance awareness; and proficiency with maintenance software.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (technical or trade schooling preferred), valid driver’s license, and certifications in building systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical) or facility management.
