Position: Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift 2:30pm – 11:00pm

Hours

2nd Shift, 2:30pm – 11:00pm. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Responsibilities
  • Own equipment in your area, taking individual responsibility and learning to maintain it.
  • Build knowledge and collaborate with fellow technicians.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert, helping make decisions about equipment, scheduling, and improvements.
  • Strategize: plan and execute preventive maintenance, repairs, and updates to keep equipment operating at peak efficiency.
  • Use data to drive decision‑making and focus on permanent fixes rather than temporary band‑aid solutions.
  • Customer focus: work cross‑functionally with multiple teams to diagnose and correct issues as they arise.
  • Growth: develop additional skills through the internal training and promotion program.
Qualifications and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical aptitude.
  • Associate degree in a technical field such as electro‑mechanical (preferred).
  • Relevant experience in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing (preferred).
  • Experience with laboratory equipment and repair.

Physical

Position Requirements
  • Work safely in an industrial environment using approved procedures (Lockout/Tagout, confined space, line break, right to know, PPE, etc.).
  • Use hand and power tools.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. (never more).
  • Work in areas that may be hot, cold, noisy, ultra‑clean, or require additional PPE.
  • May be exposed to temperature variations, prolonged standing, or walking.
  • A valid driver’s license may be required.
