Job Title: Senior Maintenance Technician

Agency: Office of Management and Enterprise Services

Position Type: Full time

Compensation: Salary up to $59,228.40 based on education and experience.

Job Details
  • Full-time 40-hour work weeks.
  • Support the CAM team.
Responsibilities
  • Assist oversight of multiple state buildings managed by OMES DCAM Office of Facilities Management, including status of systems, work orders, and construction projects.
  • Complete assigned preventive maintenance (PM) inspection schedules for all assigned buildings, documenting deficiencies in the department IWMS.
  • Assign work requests in IWMS to team members.
  • Review subordinate staff entries for work orders, completion, and time cards in IWMS.
  • Assign scheduled preventive maintenance work orders.
  • Provide oversight and direction on tasks assigned to subordinate staff.
  • Oversee event setups within OFM managed facilities to ensure occupant safety.
  • Supervise a small staff of up to 5 employees or contractors, including training, assigning/checking work, and performing related work.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Work outside, exposed to environmental elements for large portions of the workday.
  • Noise level may be loud, requiring hearing protection.
  • Requires standing, bending, crouching, pushing/pulling, lifting/moving/carrying up to 25/50 pounds, and climbing ladders/stairs.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED and (2) years of experience in construction, maintenance, or skilled building trade.
  • Preference for applicants with three (3) or more years of supervisory experience.
