Maintenance Worker - Kaw

Listing Description

The Maintenance Employee performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled work in the operation and maintenance of the City infrastructure including gas, water and wastewater systems, streets, cemetery, signage, sidewalks, curb & gutter, parking structures, storm water system, and the operation of medium and heavy construction and other specialized equipment while providing seamless cooperative service to our residents and visitors.

Physical requirements:

Often required to work non-traditional working hours which include weekends, holidays, and nights. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, run, talk and hear. Must be able to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
