Facilities Laborer

Description

Provide support to all facility related operations. Obtain and maintain forklift operating certification.

• Digs trenches and other excavations using picks and shovels.
• Demolishes, disassembles and removes structures such as scaffolding, partitions, foundations, floors and walks using hand tools (crowbars, sledgehammers, etc.).
• Removes debris and salvage material using broom, shovel, wheelbarrow or truck and loads into motor trucks.
• Removes snow using shovel/snow removal equipment as needed.
• Maintains roof drains on buildings.
• Moves office furniture throughout the facility using carts/dolly’s and hand trucks.

• Ability to work independently or in teams.
• Ability to lift, bend and perform normal activities of a physically challenging position.
• Valid driver's license.
• U.S. citizen.
• Must obtain and maintain a DOD Secret security clearance.

Position requires a DOD government security clearance at the Secret level; a U.S. citizen is required for consideration.
