grounds maintenance services lead
monday - friday 8 hours per day, 6:30 a.m.
- 3:00 p.m. Work year: calendar year/12 months under general supervision, to plan, assign and supervise the work of employees engaged in performing centralized grounds maintenance services for the district and related facilities; to personally direct major ground development and maintenance services for the district's schools and related facilities; to do skilled groundskeeping and gardening work; and do related work as may be required.
This is a single position class to which an incumbent is assigned a working lead role over assigned workers and must be able to assist in the training of assigned workers. While a major portion of the time of a position in this class is spent in performing skilled grounds maintenance and landscaping work, an incumbent may also be expected to carry out a wide range of assigned work outside of grounds care.

to be considered for this position, applicants must provide/include the following: 1. A completed edjoin classified application that includes the required experience.
* experience: three (3) years of experience in grounds maintenance and landscaping with increasing responsibility or two (2) years as a groundsman i with moreno valley unified school district.

Attach a pdf copy to your edjoin application of your state license authorizing pesticide application and training of others.

note: current employees shall remain in a position for at least one (1) year from the beginning date of an initial probation or promotional probational period in order to be considered. Successfully complete the district's competitive hiring process, to include a written test, performance test, interview, background checks, medical exam given by a district-appointed physician (when applicable), and the submission of a tuberculosis certificate showing the applicant is free from active tuberculosis within the past 4 years.
