Laborer - Water Treatment Plant

PEIA Health Insurance – PPB Plan C (high-deductible plan) is MUB funded – 0 premiums for employees (including family) and an HSA account funded by MUB to cover the deductible. There are a total of seven plans to choose from.

DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monday – Friday 7:30-4:00pm
• Cleaning the building and grounds of the Water Treatment Plant
• Cleaning of the remote booster stations
• Grass mowing and trimming at Water Treatment Plant, remote booster stations, and tank sites
• Snow removal during winter months
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid WV Driver’s License
• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to climb ladders and work in elevated areas
• Basic experience using hand tools, hand operated power tools, and lawn equipment
• Ability to work independently once trainedl>
  
  Ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary Range: Minimum starting rate of $19.29 per hour (Based on experience and qualifications)
