Mechanical Supervisor​/Planner Maintenance

Green Bay Packaging seeks a Mechanical Supervisor/Planner Maintenance to lead maintenance planning and daily supervision in our manufacturing facility. This role plans and schedules mechanical work, oversees technicians, and drives equipment reliability through preventive and predictive maintenance. You will coordinate with production to minimize downtime, uphold strict safety and environmental standards, and manage work orders, parts, and documentation. The position supports continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, and staff development in a stable, people-first, sustainability-focused environment with strong career growth potential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and prioritize mechanical maintenance activities for plant equipment
• Supervise maintenance technicians, assigning work and monitoring performance
• Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance plans
• Coordinate maintenance outages with production to minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Manage spare parts, maintenance records, and work order documentation
• Support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement of equipment reliability
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and vendors on repairs and upgrades
• Train and mentor maintenance staff on technical and safety procedures
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and report progress to plant leadership
