Environmental Services Manager | Hospital
We're seeking an experienced Environmental Services Manager to lead hospital housekeeping and EVS operations, ensuring a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, train, schedule, and develop the EVS team
- Oversee hospital-wide cleaning, sanitation, and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and healthcare regulations
- Conduct inspections and implement corrective actions
- Manage departmental budget, supplies, equipment, and vendors
- Collaborate with Nursing, Facilities, Infection Control, and leadership
- Address concerns and drive continuous improvement
- Monitor performance metrics and conduct staff training
- High School Diploma or equivalent required;
Associate Degree preferred - Experience managing EVS, housekeeping, or janitorial operations
- Hospital/healthcare EVS experience preferred
- Knowledge of sanitation, infection control, and safety practices
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
