Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Provides administrative support for the Warehouse Department Managers and their staff. Assists with routine correspondence, various department reports, monitoring inventory levels, and project assignments. Communicates with exempt and non-exempt associates in a professional and confidential manner.
Responsibilities- Handles clerical support for the Manager and other staff members as needed. Transcribes notes into correspondence and composes letters and memorandums for signature.
- Notify shipping companies about delays in arrival time or other issues that may impact delivery times.
- Coordinate freight shipments using computer programs that track details such as weight, volume, and destination location.
- Track inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock for future sales or promotions.
- Coordinate the shipping of goods by truck and arrange for customs clearance procedures when required.
- Coordinate with vendors to obtain new policies or file claims when appropriate.
- Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
- Use computer software to calculate rates based on distance, weight, and other factors for each shipment.
- Review and update product listings on websites or other promotional materials to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments, including dates, contents, and destinations.
- Process purchase orders for materials needed to manufacture products.
- Track and update the status of outgoing shipments.
- Maintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scan inventory, and count accurately.
- Check in and out truck drivers and maintain safety of yard gate access.
- Prepare and generate required shipping documents and/or pallet labels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Two to three years of administrative experience required.
- Ability to receive and comprehend large quantities of varied data, organize and present it when required.
- Typing speed of 45 words per minute.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with a minimum score of 80%.
- Ability to operate all office machines.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and demonstrate flexibility.
- Good interpersonal skills and initiative on specific issues.
- Ability to prioritize handling of situations.
