Position: Member Service Representative (MSR) - Part-time

Summary

The Member Service Representative I (MSR I) assists members with financial needs, processes transactions and requests accurately, and promotes PFCU products to enhance member experience while meeting sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and communicate with members in person, phone, or email, providing prompt and accurate service.
  • Process all types of member transactions within established limits, including deposits, loan transactions, account changes, and ancillary product sales.
  • Maintain proficiency in all credit union software applications, Microsoft Office, and general office equipment.
  • Build rapport and promote cross‑sell of PFCU products, meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Stay informed on industry developments, regulations, and technology to provide member education.
  • Maintain cash control, audit logs, and office supplies inventory.
  • Represent PFCU at SEG and community functions and uphold company policies and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform additional duties as required and support other offices or departments as needed.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 months of customer service and sales experience; cash handling, credit union, or banking experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, well‑organized, accurate, and detail‑oriented.
  • Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and willingness to advance.
  • Knowledge of credit union or banking products, policies, and procedures.
  • Results‑driven, self‑motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Trustworthy with bondability; maintain highest integrity.
  • Proficiency with PFCU software applications and Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility with work schedule, including possible evening hours.
Additional Information

The role requires clear verbal and written communication, attention to accuracy and fraud prevention, and the ability to stand, move, and lift materials as needed. Employees must uphold compliance with all credit union policies, the Bank Secrecy Act, and Anti‑Money Laundering policies.
