A manufacturing company is looking for a Controls Engineer / Automation Engineer in the Chicago area. This hands-on role involves supporting capital projects and improving productivity on stamping presses and other manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical control systems, diagnosing mechanical issues, and leading equipment commissioning to minimize downtime. Candidates should have a relevant degree, journeyman electrician card preferred, and experience with PLCs and mechanical equipment.

Regional travel between Chicago and Milwaukee is required.
