Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing process improvements, equipment implementation, and production optimization within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role partners with operations, quality, controls, and engineering teams to launch new equipment, improve assembly processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and integration of manufacturing equipment and production systems.
• Troubleshoot production, assembly, and process-related issues.
• Lead process improvement, standardization, and efficiency projects.
• Develop work instructions, training materials, and manufacturing documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate processes and support production startup activities.
• Drive quality, traceability, and operational performance improvements.
• Hands-on expertise programming, configuring, and troubleshooting torque tools (Atlas Copco preferred)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or production support.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement skills.
• Experience with manufacturing systems, equipment integration, and production processes.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred

• Experience with automation, controls integration, CAD, SAP, Lean Manufacturing, or high-volume production environments.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Morton Grove, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $72.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
