Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Mechanical Assembly Technician for a hands‑on role assembling and preparing automotive components. The ideal candidate enjoys working with tools, has strong mechanical aptitude, pays attention to detail, and is eager to learn. Training will be provided on our equipment and processes.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble automotive parts and components to specifications
  • Operate a press to install and plug axles and related components
  • Use a saw to cut axles and materials to specified lengths
  • Operate a manual lathe for basic machining operations
  • Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and accuracy
  • Inspect completed parts for quality and proper assembly
  • Record materials used and maintain accurate inventory
  • Keep tools, parts, inventory locations, and work areas organized
  • Follow established safety and quality procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in hands‑on work
  • Willingness to learn shop equipment and machinery
  • Ability to follow instructions, measurements, and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and strong work ethic
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced shop environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted

Training Provided:
Press, saw, manual lathe, assembly procedures, measuring equipment, inventory processes, and other job‑related equipment.
