Catering By Michaels has been one of Chicago's premier catering and event companies for over thirty years. We are well known for our 100% scratch kitchen, delicious cuisine, creative presentations and exceptional service. Additionally we are the only caterer in North America that is both Green Restaurant and Green Seal certified, following sustainable practices both in-house and  have been honored to have catered some of Chicago's most high profile events including Lollapalooza, the NFL Draft, The Black Creativity Gala, The Columbian Ball and the University of Chicago Alumni Weekend among others.

We enjoy preferred catering status at many of Chicago's most historic and iconic venues and are proud of our roots on the North Shore, as well as the city of Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Work as a member of the Catering by Michaels event staff team at catered parties all over Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.

Event Staff are expected to quickly and efficiently serve guests, with knowledge of the food and beverage items being served. As a full service catering operation, set up and tear down are also our servers responsibility, therefore, the ability to work in a team environment and to work calmly and effectively under pressure is essential.

Searching for part time Servers, Bartenders, and Captains.

Events are held throughout Chicago and surrounding area; being mobile with reliable transit outside of CTA is a plus!

Scheduling is flexible, as we request our servers for events - work gig based as a W2 employee!

English language and professional communication skills are a must. The ability to lift a tray weighing approximately up to 30lbs is necessary. Prior server experience is helpful, but not necessary. Must be 18 or older and have reliable transportation. Need to be able to work fast in a hectic environment without losing sight of the quality. Grooming and courtesy on the job is essential.
