As a Custodian at Lightcast, you will be a valuable member of our facility management team, responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming office environment. This role is ideal for individuals with 1–2 years of custodial experience who take pride in their work and are dedicated to ensuring a pleasant, professional, and well‑maintained workspace for employees and visitors. You'll work independently while supporting the day‑to‑day operations of our Moscow headquarters through consistent cleaning, maintenance support, and facility upkeep.
MajorResponsibilities
- Clean and sanitize offices, common areas, breakrooms including kitchen area (fridges, dishwashers, microwave), conference rooms, and restrooms
- Collect and dispose of waste and recyclables
- Monitor and replenish cleaning and kitchen (napkins, utensils, plates, paper product) supplies
- Report and assist with minor facility maintenance issues
- Follow safety procedures to maintain a clean, secure, and hazard‑free workplace
- Support exterior upkeep, including snow removal and basic weed maintenance as needed
- Complete assigned duties reliably and help maintain a professional, business‑ready environment
- 1–2 years of custodial experience, preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals
- Experience with general cleaning, furniture cleaning, mopping, waste disposal, and sanitization
- Ability to support snow removal, basic weed maintenance as needed, and regularly lift 50+ lbs.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, reliability, and work ethic
- Ability to take direction and work independently
- Ability to manage priorities with minimal supervision
