This position will perform general building maintenance tasks on aregular and continuing basis. It will provide general support for avariety of construction, trades, landscaping, exterior service and maintenance areas to repair and maintain university facilities and grounds. Job duties will vary widely depending on the work and projects assigned.

• Utilize basic tools and equipment
• Repair and maintain basic machinery, equipment and facilityproperty
• Assist with routine facility inspections and monitorcleanliness
• Assist with inventory and distribution of deliveries
• Manually move and transfer items
• Participate in snow removal
• Other duties as assigned

• Working in a team to accomplish goals

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Possess a valid driver's license and the ability to meetuniversity requirements for driving university-owned vehicles
• Be at least 18 years of age

• Experience:
  • Working in construction or building maintenance
  • Using power tools and equipment
• Expressed interest in learning and acquiring skills related to building maintenance

• Bend, stoop and work in awkward positions for several hours ata time
• Climb and work from ladders, scaffolding and scissor lifts
• Carry, lift or otherwise move items weighing up to 50pounds
• Stand and walk continuously throughout the workday
• Work in inclement weather conditions
