Housekeeper Position

Hampton Behavioral Health Center is seeking dynamic and talented Housekeepers to work various shifts. Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a private behavioral healthcare center and offers the most advanced behavioral health, diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents and older adults in both inpatient and outpatient programs. We are looking for a Full Time Housekeeping employee available Monday - Friday, from 8am to 4:30pm and rotating weekends. Some of the expected duties are as follows:

• Assume responsibility for the cleaning of all assigned areas such as patient rooms, offices, school as assigned by supervisor
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers
• Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy

Qualifications Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills
• High school graduate or GED certification
• Skill and aptitude to operate housekeeping equipment and tools assigned
• Ability to understand the correct use of chemicals and supplies after training
• Minimum of one year previous experience preferred
