Sanitation Associate I

Our client, a leading food service distribution company, is seeking a Sanitation Associate I to support warehouse and facility cleanliness at their Westampton, NJ location. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning and sanitation duties throughout the warehouse and facility
• Sweep floors, collect and dispose of trash, and maintain orderly work areas
• Wipe down surfaces, equipment, and common areas using approved cleaning products
• Complete warehouse cleanup tasks as assigned
• Operate a baler and/or compactor for waste management purposes
• Assist with maintaining facility cleanliness in accordance with company standards
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Required Qualifications:

• 0-3 years of sanitation, custodial, or related warehouse experience
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including standing, walking, and lifting as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience operating a baler and/or compactor
• Previous warehouse or facility cleanup experience

About the Role:

This is a contract position with an estimated duration through late December 2025, based on business needs. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM, with up to 2 hours of overtime available. This role is based on-site at the Westampton, NJ facility with no travel required. Compensation is competitive and will be discussed during the interview process.
