Pay: $18-22/hr based on experience

Typical

Working Hours:

7:00am - 3:30pm

May be required to work extended hours including holidays and weekends due to the 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year type of service ESCO provides its clients.

Synopsis

The Equipment and Logistics Assistant is an entry level position within the electrical shop of ESCO Electric (Safety). This position is best described as a hands-on support resource. This position requires the knowledge of tools, loading, and hauling. The job requires a high level of efficiency while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with loading and towing a trailer and basic knowledge of tools is preferred.

Background

and Work Experience

To be considered, candidates should have:

  • Completion of a high school degree program; or
  • A combination of equivalent education and or experience will be considered with solid evidence of success.
  • General knowledge of tools.
  • A valid driver's license.
Preferred
  • Experience with trailer towing.
Responsibilities and Duties

The Electric Shop Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Check tools in and out on a daily basis, including updating the tool database and inventory data entry.
  • Perform annual Tool Inventory (Owner)
  • Load and deliver tools, equipment, supplies, and other materials to jobsites, including jobsite cleanup and return.
  • Equipment Numbering and Marking
  • MEWP and Dirt Equipment delivery/hauling/pick-up
  • Sort and return tools, equipment, supplies, and other materials.
  • Calibration and Testing Management for Safety and Equipment
  • Perform basic maintenance including building, furniture, lawn care, snow removal, etc.
  • Fleet Shuttling
  • Manage customer needs and requests with communication as they come through our ticketing system.
  • Shop Organization and Cleaning
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment that represents a professional company image. Keep workspace and vehicles clean and organized on a daily basis.
  • Utilize, support, and enhance ESCO's standards and best practices.
  • Understand and follow all safety, conduct, and policy requirements established by ESCO and clients.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or deemed necessary by management.

Travel Required

Accommodate up to 90% of daily travel for services at both in and out-of-town facilities. Overnight travel for services at out-of-town facilities is infrequent. The amount of travel is largely dependent upon project scope, schedule, and assigned tasks.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but may be exposed to very loud areas.
