We are hiring an experienced GPS Technician to capture As‑Built records and GPS data in the field and communicate with the GIS Analyst to provide deliverables to client.

Main Responsibilities
  • Complete daily note taking based on construction progress.
  • Capture GPS measurements and additional data in field daily with high‑grade equipment and devices.
  • Obtain measurements for main/fittings (location, depth, manufacturer, size, type, other info) and services (tap location, offsets) being installed.
  • Coordinate data and notes with GIS Analyst so As‑Builts and GPS data can be delivered to client.
  • Deliver said documents to client when necessary.
  • If necessary, complete other field tasks such as measuring restoration, site conditions and other data entry.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • High level of customer service.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous construction experience.
  • Previous utility locating experience.
  • Familiarity with wheel measuring and construction drawings.
