Position OverviewTeaching assistants play an incredibly important role in our Pre‑K and Kindergarten classrooms. These early years are some of the most exciting and meaningful moments in a child’s educational journey, as they build foundations for reading, writing, mathematics, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.
Responsibilities- Partner with teachers to create engaging, joyful, and enriching learning experiences where every child feels supported and inspired to grow.
- Help make the classroom a place where students can explore, discover, and develop confidence.
- Assist with classroom preparedness, lesson support, and student guidance as directed by teachers.
- Support the development of early literacy skills, though a strong background in early literacy is not required.
- Possessing a caring heart, a willingness to learn, and a desire to make a lasting difference in the lives of children.
- A strong foundation in early literacy is an asset but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
Hourly range: $15.50 to $17.50. Pay within this range is based on education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
