Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer will act as a technical lead within a high voltage lab environment, where you will be responsible for leading testing, data acquisition, and system development efforts. This role requires deep expertise in circuit design and data acquisition, with a specialization in power electronics or programming. You will oversee lab operations, guide engineering staff, and drive continuous improvement of testing systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead high voltage lab operations, serving as the primary technical resource and team lead.
• Design, test, and support electrical circuits and systems for high voltage applications.
• Conduct testing, collect and analyze data, and generate detailed reports.
• Develop and implement lab procedures, test methods, and documentation.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems, circuits, and test setups.
• Oversee and support lab maintenance, calibration, and system upgrades.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for lab capabilities and testing efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support engineering and testing needs.
• Mentor and guide engineers and technicians within the lab environment.
• Ensure high attention to detail in all testing, documentation, and reporting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Prospect, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
