Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure as an SLP in Illinois
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Prior experience in a school‑based or pediatric setting is preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with teachers, staff, families, and students
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for students of all abilities
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations
  • Develop and implement personalized intervention plans aligned with student needs
  • Collaborate with educators and other specialists to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, documenting progress and updating goals as needed
  • Provide therapy sessions individually or in small groups in accordance with IEPs
  • Offer consultation and resources to families and team members
  • Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with school and state standards
