Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Temporary Export Associate to support our export operations team. This role is responsible for the end-to-end handling of outbound export shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, system updates, and physical shipment preparation in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities


• Shipment Handling:
Prepare, organize, and process export shipments in accordance with company procedures and applicable export regulations.

• System Updates:
Accurately enter and maintain Air Waybill (AWB) details and shipment information within internal tracking and management systems.

• Documentation Management:
Upload, organize, and verify all required export paperwork — including commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels — to ensure compliance and traceability.

• Physical Shipment Manipulation:
Safely handle, move, and weigh outbound shipments as part of the export preparation process.

• Compliance:
Adhere to all relevant export control laws, company policies, and standard operating procedures.

Collaboration:

Coordinate with warehouse staff, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate shipment dispatch.


Requirements


• Physical Capability:
Must be able to independently lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

• Attention to Detail:
Strong accuracy in data entry and documentation handling.

• Technical Proficiency:
Comfortable using internal systems and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, ERP/WMS platforms).

• Communication

Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively with team members and external partners.

• Organizational

Skills:

Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing in a deadline-driven environment.


Preferred Qualifications


• Prior experience in export operations, logistics, or warehouse environments.

• Familiarity with Air Waybill (AWB) processes and export documentation.

• Knowledge of international shipping regulations and trade compliance requirements.
