Description
The General Manager of Andrews Products is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and strategic direction of the business. This role owns commercial performance, customer relationships, pricing strategy, product development alignment, operational coordination, and market development while ensuring Andrews supports the broader objectives of Racing & Performance Holdings (R&P).
R&P’s primary mission is to connect People, Power and Performance through a variety of well known, legacy brands in the high-performance aftermarket that include Airflow Research Heads (cylinder heads and intake manifolds), Scat (cranks, rods and rotating assemblies), Racetec (pistons), Vortech/Paxton (superchargers) and Procar seating.
Andrews Products is a long-established manufacturer of high-performance camshafts, gears, and drivetrain components for motorcycle and automotive applications. The company serves the powersports and automotive aftermarket and operates with approximately 48 employees across a 50,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Mount Pleasant, Illinois, and a smaller warehouse and service location in Concord, North Carolina. As part of Racing & Performance Holdings, Andrews works alongside brands including Airflow Research, SCAT, Race Tec, Vortech, Paxton, and Procar to expand category reach, customer value, and cross-brand growth opportunities
Requirements Core Responsibilities Business Unit Leadership- Lead Andrews Products with full accountability for revenue, profitability, market position, and operating performance.
- Develop and execute short- and long-term growth strategies aligned with company priorities.
- Partner with executive leadership on annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
- Drive alignment across sales, operations, inventory, and product priorities to support customer demand and business performance.
- Build and maintain strategic customer relationships across the powersports and automotive aftermarket.
- Support revenue growth through direct customer engagement, pricing strategy, quoting, market development, and trade show participation.
- Provide leadership for internal sales and customer-facing activities, ensuring responsiveness and commercial discipline.
- Manage key accounts, distributors, and performance partners to strengthen retention and expand business.
- Own pricing strategy, quoting practices, and margin management across the business.
- Balance market competitiveness with profitability targets and brand positioning.
- Evaluate customer programs, promotions, and strategic opportunities based on financial and commercial impact.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to inform commercial decisions.
- Serve as a market-facing leader for Andrews performance products, with strong credibility in technical applications and customer use cases.
- Support product positioning, application guidance, and identification of emerging market needs.
- Partner with operations and leadership on product planning, inventory considerations, and product development priorities.
- Identify opportunities for new products, category expansion, and deeper market penetration.
- Work closely with operations, production, purchasing, and inventory teams to align demand, capacity, and customer commitments.
- Help prioritize production and manage delivery expectations in support of service and profitability goals.
- Improve communication and execution across commercial and operational teams.
- Support resolution of customer service, quality, and fulfillment issues as needed.
- Build team accountability, operating discipline, and cross-functional alignment.
- Foster a professional, collaborative, and customer-focused culture.
- Participate in leadership activities across all R&P brands and help drive cross-brand and cross-selling opportunities.
- Support succession planning and documentation of key relationships and business processes.

- Strong experience in the powersports performance aftermarket, automotive aftermarket, or closely related industries.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in general management, business management, sales leadership, or a comparable role.
- Strong understanding of pricing, quoting, margin management, and customer strategy.
- Ability to operate strategically and tactically across commercial and operational functions.
