School-Based Registered Nurse; RN - Mount Prospect, Illinois

Bring your expertise as a Certified School Nurse to a dynamic contract role supporting middle school students. This full-time onsite position offers the unique opportunity to work flexibly across four locations, collaborating closely with onsite Registered Nurses to provide exceptional care and support to students, particularly with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

As a crucial member of the student health team, you’ll help ensure a safe and supportive environment for learning by delivering high-quality nursing services where they’re most needed. This flex role allows you to impact multiple school communities, bringing variety to your workday while building meaningful connections with both students and staff.

• Valid Illinois Certified School Nurse (CSN) License (required)
• Registered Nurse (RN) skills and experience working in a school setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with student IEP processes and educational health requirements
• Ability to adapt to different school sites and quickly assess needs

• Provide nursing support for middle school students across four locations
• Partner with onsite RNs to meet daily health needs and deliver first aid and care
• Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring student IEP health components
• Maintain accurate documentation of student services, interventions, and outcomes
• Promote health education and wellness throughout the school community
• Respond promptly to student health emergencies as needed
