School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Mount Prospect, Illinois

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Certified School Nurse supporting middle and elementary schools in a contract, onsite role. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment, collaborating with dedicated nursing teams across four school locations. Youll play a vital part in ensuring the well‑being of students while assisting with Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and developing student medical emergency plans.

• Active Illinois Certified School Nurse (CSN) license required
• Background in school nursing, supporting IEPs, and emergency medical planning strongly preferred
• Flexible and adaptive with strong communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with RNs and interdisciplinary teams

• Partner with onsite RNs at one middle and three elementary schools
• Provide supplemental support by flexing across multiple school locations as needed
• Participate in student IEP meetings, providing insights on medical needs and accommodations
• Assist with the development and implementation of student medical emergency plans
• Maintain accurate student health records and documentation in collaboration with the nursing staff
• Contribute to a safe, supportive, and health-focused educational environment
