Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and contacting appropriate medical staff and/or law enforcement as needed;
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, loading and delivery areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations;
Monitor access points and public areas, observe for unusual conditions, and report concerns to Allied Universal supervision and/or site leadership in a timely manner;
Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions
